The Challenge
Building Bitcoin functionality into a live platform is not a straightforward integration task. The client came to us with a scope that required both hands-on full stack engineering and independent cryptographic research — simultaneously. They needed Bitcoin deeply woven into their system, not bolted on, and they needed confidence that the algorithms underpinning that system were sound and forward-looking.
The dual nature of the work created real complexity. Engineering decisions had to be grounded in research outcomes, and research had to keep pace with active development. A gap between the two tracks would have resulted in either a poorly informed build or delayed delivery.
Our Approach
Helion360 structured the engagement around two synchronized workstreams. The first covered full stack Bitcoin integration — wallet management, transaction processing, secure API communication, and on-chain data handling across the client's frontend and backend layers. Every component was built to production standards with security and scalability as non-negotiable requirements.
The second workstream focused on crypto algorithm research. We evaluated existing cryptographic standards, benchmarked alternatives, and identified areas where custom implementations could deliver measurable improvements in both performance and security. Research findings fed directly into engineering decisions, keeping both tracks aligned throughout the project.

The Bitcoin integration shipped as a fully operational, production-ready system. It handled live transactions, wallet interactions, and on-chain data queries within the client's existing architecture — documented and built for long-term maintainability.
The crypto algorithm research produced a structured technical assessment covering performance benchmarks, security trade-offs, and prioritized implementation recommendations. Together, these two deliverables gave the client both a working product and a clear path forward — outcomes that typically require advanced technical models to achieve.
