What Goes Wrong When Motion Graphics Work Is Under-Resourced
The most common failure is treating motion language as optional. When each animation is built from scratch without a shared motion brief, the resulting set of assets looks like it came from different studios. Even if each individual piece is competent, the system feels incoherent, which undermines brand consistency across a campaign.
A related problem is working directly in the master composition instead of using pre-comps. A project that avoids pre-comps might seem faster to build initially, but when a brand color changes or a logo is updated, every composition must be edited individually.
