Translating a financial PowerPoint deck sounds straightforward on the surface — swap the words, keep the slides. In practice, the work is far more demanding, particularly when the source material is dense with data, charts, footnotes, and tightly spaced text boxes.

A second pitfall is treating chart labels as part of the general text translation pass. Because chart data labels live inside chart objects rather than on the slide canvas, they are invisible to PowerPoint's built-in Find & Replace. A translated deck that misses even three or four chart labels looks inconsistent and unprofessional, especially in a financial context where readers scrutinize every number.
Font drift is another compounding problem.
