When a Research Report Needs to Do More Than Inform

The document is dense, accurate, and genuinely valuable. And then it lands in front of a boardroom, an investor, or a senior stakeholder who has twelve minutes and zero patience for walls of text.
The problem is not the research. The problem is that a research report and a research presentation are two fundamentally different things, and they require fundamentally different construction. A report is built to be read. A presentation is built to be experienced. When organizations skip the translation work between those two formats, they routinely watch high-quality analysis get dismissed, misunderstood, or simply ignored — not because the substance was weak, but because the delivery did not match how the audience actually consumes information.
