The Challenge
Synthr, a Web3 omnichain liquidity protocol, needed a punchy 30-second motion graphics video to announce its app launch across social media. The brief was anything but straightforward — the client wanted a fast-paced, visually immersive piece with a distinctly neon, modern, and slightly psychedelic aesthetic, inspired by a specific reference video in the crypto-native design space. The challenge lay in balancing near-total creative freedom with extremely strict adherence to Synthr's brand guidelines — specific neon color palettes, proprietary typography, and logo assets all had to be honored throughout. Additionally, only two frames in the entire video could carry text, meaning the visual storytelling had to do the heavy lifting for the remaining 28 or so seconds. Creating a coherent emotional arc without a traditional narrative structure, while still feeling dynamic and brand-correct, required a disciplined creative approach.
Our Approach
Helion360 began by conducting a thorough review of the reference aesthetic — studying the motion language, color rhythm, and pacing used in the inspiration material — then mapped those qualities against Synthr's published brand assets. Rather than starting from scratch, the team curated and assembled high-quality stock footage and motion templates that matched the neon-forward, abstract visual style, then applied consistent color grading across every frame to align with Synthr's palette. Transitions were choreographed to feel energetic and intentional, maintaining a sense of momentum throughout the full 30 seconds. The two text frames — "ARE YOU READY, ANON?" and "SYNTHR — YOUR GATEWAY TO OMNICHAIN LIQUIDITY" — were placed at strategic intervals within the video's pacing structure, designed to hit at moments of visual contrast for maximum readability and impact. Typography matched Synthr's brand font exactly, and logo placements were handled with precision to feel integrated rather than bolted on.
The Outcome
The final deliverable was a fully color-graded, brand-compliant 30-second motion graphics video optimized for social media distribution. Every frame adhered strictly to Synthr's neon branding, while the overall piece maintained the high-energy, abstract aesthetic the client had envisioned from the outset. The two branded text frames landed with clarity and visual weight, providing the only moments of structured communication in an otherwise fluid, immersive video experience.
