The Challenge
The client behind Brasa, Terra e Mar — a food and travel blog exploring cuisines from across the globe — needed a logo that could do something genuinely difficult: communicate cultural richness, gastronomic variety, and aesthetic sophistication all within a single mark. The brand needed to feel equally at home on a rustic food post about Brazilian barbecue, an editorial about Japanese umami, and a Mediterranean coastal dining feature. Beyond the conceptual challenge, the logo also had to be versatile enough to scale across a website header, social media profiles, and printed collateral — without losing its character or legibility at any size. The brief called for something bold and attention-grabbing, yet refined enough to feel premium rather than loud.
Our Approach
Helion360 began with a deep exploration of the brand's three core pillars embedded in its name — fire (Brasa), earth (Terra), and sea (Mar) — treating them as both elemental references and metaphors for cooking traditions worldwide. Rather than defaulting to generic food iconography like forks or globes, the design strategy focused on fusing these elemental themes into a mark that felt primal, expressive, and instantly evocative. Typography selection centered on a combination that balanced warmth with authority, pairing a textured, organic wordmark feel with clean secondary lettering to reflect the blog's dual identity as culturally rooted yet editorially polished. Color exploration moved through earthy, flame-inspired, and ocean-derived palettes before arriving at a final direction that felt unified rather than scattered. Multiple logo variations — primary, stacked, and icon-only — were developed to ensure the brand could flex across every platform and context the client needed.
The Outcome
The final deliverable was a complete logo suite comprising a primary horizontal lockup, a stacked version for social media avatars and thumbnails, and a standalone icon mark for favicon and profile use. The design successfully translated the sensory breadth of global cuisine into a cohesive visual identity — striking enough to stand out in a crowded food content landscape, and elegant enough to carry editorial credibility. The client received a logo system that could grow with the brand, supported by clear guidance on color usage and type pairing. The identity immediately positioned Brasa, Terra e Mar as a destination worth following, with a visual presence that matched the ambition of its culinary storytelling.
If you are building a content brand that needs a visual identity as compelling as its subject matter, Helion360 delivers logo design that is both strategically grounded and creatively distinct.
