Inspired by the raw, unapologetic energy of brands like Death Wish Coffee, they needed a visual identity that communicated strength, durability, and performance at a glance. The complexity lay in balancing that bold, almost aggressive aesthetic with the practical demand for versatility — the logo had to perform equally well on digital platforms, product packaging, and physical branding materials. Industrial brands often settle for generic, utilitarian marks; this client refused to. They wanted something that would stop people mid-scroll and signal uncompromising quality before a single word was read.

The team studied reference points in high-intensity consumer branding — heavy typographic treatments, stark contrasting palettes, and iconography rooted in power and precision — then translated those principles into a language appropriate for a B2B-adjacent epoxy brand.
The design process prioritized typographic weight and structural iconography that could convey industrial toughness without feeling dated or generic. Multiple mark concepts were developed, each tested across light and dark backgrounds, product label mockups, and digital thumbnails to validate real-world legibility and impact. Color exploration focused on high-contrast combinations that signal authority and performance. Final refinements ensured the mark scaled cleanly from a favicon down to embossed packaging without losing its visual punch.
The Outcome
The final delivered logo set included a primary mark, a condensed variant for horizontal lockups, and a standalone icon — all built to work across digital and physical applications without compromise. The design successfully captured the aggressive confidence the client requested while remaining professional enough for trade and industrial contexts.
