The Challenge
A new startup preparing to launch in the modern living solutions space needed two foundational creative assets: a distinctive logo and a short promotional video animation. The challenge was not simply aesthetic — it required building a visual identity flexible enough to function across a website, social media, and print collateral, while simultaneously producing an animation that could introduce their product offering in a way that felt energetic, clear, and brand-consistent. Launching without an established visual language meant both deliverables had to be developed in parallel, with each one informing the other. There was no existing brand equity to draw from, which placed significant creative and strategic pressure on getting the foundational design decisions right from the start.

For the logo, the team explored multiple concept directions before converging on a mark that balanced modernity with versatility — one that would hold up equally well as a favicon, a social profile picture, and a large-format print asset. Colour palette, typography, and proportions were all selected with cross-medium performance in mind. Once the logo direction was approved, the animation work began using the confirmed brand identity as the visual foundation. The promotional video was storyboarded to mirror the product's key benefits in a logical, visually engaging sequence, with motion design choices that reinforced the brand's forward-thinking personality. A design rationale document was prepared alongside the final files, walking the client through the creative decisions behind both deliverables.
The Outcome
The engagement produced a polished, scalable logo delivered in all necessary file formats alongside a concise, visually compelling product animation ready for deployment across the startup's digital channels. The logo demonstrated strong adaptability across light and dark backgrounds, web and print contexts, and small and large-scale applications.
