The Challenge
A sports betting startup came to us at a pivotal moment — they were preparing to launch and needed a brand identity that could immediately communicate energy, credibility, and modernity to a highly competitive audience. The challenge was not simply creating a logo; it was building an entire visual language from scratch. The brand needed to feel bold enough to stand out in the sports and betting space while remaining approachable and trustworthy to a broad consumer demographic. Every design decision had to work cohesively across digital platforms, merchandise, and promotional materials — leaving no room for inconsistency or visual ambiguity.
Our Approach
Helion360 began by immersing the team in the client's brand positioning, target audience, and competitive landscape. Rather than jumping straight into visual execution, the work started with a discovery phase that defined the brand's personality pillars — dynamic, modern, and accessible — which then informed every design decision that followed.
The logo was developed through multiple concept rounds, testing mark styles, wordmark variations, and icon-driven approaches before landing on a distinctive emblem that balanced sport-forward energy with a clean, scalable aesthetic. Alongside the logo, a color palette was carefully curated — drawing on psychological associations with excitement and confidence while ensuring strong contrast and digital accessibility. Typography selection followed the same logic: a pairing of a bold display typeface for headlines with a highly legible secondary font for body copy and UI contexts. Each element was documented in a structured brand guidelines framework to ensure consistent application across every touchpoint the startup would encounter at launch and beyond.
The Outcome
The engagement delivered a complete brand identity system ready for immediate deployment — including a primary logo with approved variants, a defined color palette with hex, RGB, and CMYK values, and a two-typeface typography system with clear usage hierarchy. Brand guidelines were produced to govern how each element should appear across the website, app interfaces, social media, and physical merchandise. The startup launched with a visual identity that felt polished and purpose-built for its market, giving the team a strong creative foundation to build audience recognition from day one.
Helion360 works with startups at every stage of their brand journey — from first-time identity builds to full visual system overhauls.
