The Challenge
A founder preparing to launch a new venture came to us with a clear but ambitious ask: overhaul their visual identity from the ground up. The existing logo no longer reflected where the brand was heading, and without a formalized brand system in place, the team had no consistent framework for color, typography, or visual tone. What made this engagement particularly demanding was the need to deliver three interconnected outputs — a redesigned logo, a full brand guidelines document, and a motion logo animation — all of which had to feel cohesive and launch-ready. Getting any one of these elements wrong would undermine the others, so precision, sequencing, and creative alignment were critical from the very start.
Our Approach
Helion360 approached this as a single integrated brand system project rather than three separate deliverables. The process began with a discovery phase to understand the client's brand values, target audience, and competitive landscape. From there, the logo redesign was tackled first, since every downstream decision — color palette, typeface pairings, spacing principles — would flow from that foundational mark. Multiple logo concepts were developed and refined through close collaboration with the client's creative team, ensuring the final direction genuinely represented the brand's personality and positioning. Once the logo was approved, the comprehensive brand guidelines document was built around it, covering primary and secondary color systems, typography hierarchy, logo usage rules, spacing and clearspace standards, and application examples across both digital and print contexts. Finally, the approved logo mark was brought to life as a motion animation optimized for use across digital platforms, including social media intros, website headers, and video content.
The Outcome
The engagement resulted in a fully realized brand identity system: a refined, modern logo that clearly communicates the brand's values, a detailed brand guidelines document that gives the internal team and future collaborators a clear visual language to work from, and a polished motion logo animation ready for deployment across digital touchpoints. The client entered their launch phase with a professional, consistent identity that could scale as the business grows — no guesswork, no visual inconsistency, and no need to revisit foundational brand decisions any time soon.
Helion360 specializes in exactly this kind of end-to-end brand identity work, where logo design, brand systems, and motion all need to speak the same visual language.
