The Challenge
A new psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy practice based in San Francisco needed a complete brand identity and website built from the ground up — one that could accomplish two seemingly competing goals at once. On one hand, the practice required the credibility and professionalism that would reassure prospective clients about sharing sensitive mental health information. On the other, the brand needed to feel warm, human, and reflective of the healing-centered mission at the core of their work. Designing for an emerging and still-stigmatized space like psychedelic-assisted therapy added another layer of complexity: the visual language had to feel grounded and trustworthy, not experimental or fringe, while still honoring the natural, transformative nature of the practice's approach.
Our Approach
Helion360 began by reviewing the client's initial brand briefs, preferred color palettes, and typography references to establish a clear creative direction before any design work began. The team developed a logo concept that balanced simplicity with symbolism — versatile enough to work across digital platforms, social media profiles, and physical merchandise without losing its character at any scale. Brand guidelines were established to ensure consistency across every touchpoint, defining how colors, fonts, and visual elements should work together to convey calm, clarity, and care. For the website, the team structured the layout around the user journey of a first-time visitor who may be unfamiliar with the practice — organizing key sections including services, testimonials, frequently asked questions, and contact information in a logical, low-friction flow. Every design decision, from whitespace to typography weight, was made in service of building confidence and reducing hesitation for visitors who may be taking a vulnerable step.

The engagement resulted in a fully realized brand identity system and a clean, modern website designed to meet prospective clients where they are emotionally. The logo was delivered in multiple formats ready for deployment across web, social, and print contexts. The website presented the practice's services clearly, incorporated social proof through testimonials, and made it easy for visitors to take the next step — whether that was reading more or reaching out directly.
