The Challenge
The client came to us with a logo that had long needed attention — a brand identity that felt dated and lacked the typographic clarity required for modern marketing materials. The ask was deceptively simple on the surface: introduce a fresh typeface and deliver a fully vectorized logo. But the real complexity lay in ensuring the new type direction felt cohesive with the existing brand DNA, scaled cleanly across digital and print contexts, and offered enough variation to be versatile without becoming inconsistent. With upcoming marketing campaigns depending on this refresh, there was no room for a result that looked half-finished or typographically mismatched.
Our Approach
Helion360 approached this as a brand identity challenge, not just a design production task. The process began with a careful audit of the existing logo — its proportions, weight, and how the original typeface was contributing to (or undermining) the brand's visual tone. From there, the team explored several typeface directions, evaluating each against legibility at small sizes, personality fit, and compatibility with the logo mark. Once a direction was approved, the logo was fully rebuilt in Adobe Illustrator using precise vector paths — ensuring clean output at any scale, from a favicon to a large-format banner. Three distinct logo variations were then developed: a primary horizontal lockup, a compact stacked version, and a standalone wordmark, each crafted to serve different layout and media contexts. Every file was delivered in both editable and export-ready formats, organized for immediate use by the client's marketing and design teams.
The Outcome
The client received a complete, production-ready logo suite — three fully vectorized variations built on a refined typographic system that meaningfully elevated the brand's visual presence. The new designs were immediately deployable across marketing collateral, digital platforms, and print media without any additional production work. The refresh gave the brand a cleaner, more confident identity that aligned with where the business was heading, and the organized file delivery meant the internal team could hit the ground running on their upcoming campaign materials.
Helion360 works with brands at exactly this stage — when an identity needs to be taken seriously and the execution has to be flawless. If your logo needs a similar level of craft and clarity, the team is ready to help.
