The Challenge
A city-based summer festival organizer came to us with an exciting but creatively demanding brief: develop a cohesive suite of branded merchandise — T-shirts, hats, and stickers — that could capture the high-energy, celebratory spirit of the event. The client had rough logo concepts and a general sense of direction but needed a design team that could take those early-stage ideas and transform them into polished, print-ready artwork. The complexity lay in balancing fun and boldness with the kind of visual clarity that makes merchandise actually wearable and memorable. Each product format — apparel, headwear, and die-cut stickers — came with its own set of sizing, layout, and production constraints that required distinct design thinking while still maintaining a unified brand identity across all three.
Our Approach
Helion360 began by reviewing the client's existing logo sketches and mood references to understand the visual language they were aiming for. Rather than simply placing a logo on a template, the team developed a core graphic system — a festival-specific mark, supporting type treatment, and a colour palette built around warmth, energy, and summer vibrancy. Each merchandise format was then treated as its own design challenge. T-shirt graphics were composed for maximum visual impact at torso scale, ensuring legibility and energy from a distance. Hat embroidery and patch layouts were simplified and refined to work within the tighter constraints of structured headwear. Sticker designs were built in multiple sizes and shapes — circular, rectangular, and die-cut — to offer variety while remaining instantly recognisable as part of the same campaign. Feedback rounds were used to sharpen contrast, refine typography, and ensure the festival name and logo were always the visual anchor.
The Outcome
The final deliverables included a complete set of print-ready artwork files for T-shirts in multiple colourways, structured hat designs optimised for embroidery and print, and a sticker sheet featuring five distinct graphic variations — all united by a consistent visual identity. The client received production-ready files formatted to vendor specifications, reducing the turnaround time between design approval and merchandise printing. The designs were described by the client as capturing exactly the high-spirits energy they envisioned, with several sticker variants going on to be used across the festival's social media promotional campaign as well.
Helion360 brings the same level of craft and strategic thinking to branded merchandise as it does to any other visual identity project — ensuring that every item people wear or stick somewhere tells the right story about the brand behind it.
