Project Overview
A San Francisco-based tech startup approaching its next growth phase needed a complete investor-ready package to attract early-stage funding. The founders had a strong product vision but lacked the structured documentation required to communicate it effectively to investors. Helion360 was brought in to develop a comprehensive business plan, a compelling investor pitch deck, and a detailed financial model — all aligned with the company's growth strategy.
The Challenge
The core challenge was translating a technically sophisticated product into a clear, investor-facing narrative without losing the substance. The founders were operating in a competitive market, and the materials needed to address investor questions proactively — from market sizing and competitive positioning to revenue assumptions and burn rate. Every deliverable had to work independently while telling a unified story.
Our Approach
We began with a series of discovery sessions with the founding team to map out the business model, target market, and key differentiators. From there, our team structured the narrative arc for the pitch deck — covering problem, solution, market opportunity, go-to-market strategy, traction, and the funding ask. Simultaneously, we worked on building the financial model from the ground up, incorporating realistic revenue projections, cost structures, and scenario analysis for base, optimistic, and conservative cases.
Execution and Delivery
The business plan was developed as a comprehensive document covering executive summary, market analysis, operational plan, and competitive landscape. The investor pitch deck was designed to be visually clean and narrative-driven, with each slide built to sustain momentum through the presentation. The financial model was structured in Excel with dynamic inputs, clearly labeled assumptions, and summary dashboards that made the numbers accessible to non-finance stakeholders.
Helion360 maintained close collaboration with the founders throughout, incorporating multiple rounds of feedback to ensure the final materials accurately reflected the company's vision and financial realities.
What Was Delivered
All three deliverables were completed on schedule and structured for immediate use in investor meetings. The pitch deck, business plan, and startup financial model worked cohesively, giving the founding team a professional and credible foundation for their fundraising conversations.
