The Challenge
A trio of first-time restaurant owners were preparing to open a Chilean restaurant, bar, and bakery — a multi-concept venue celebrating the culture, flavors, and warmth of Chile. They came in with passion and a clear vision, but no visual identity to show for it. The challenge was substantial: build a brand from scratch that could carry the weight of three distinct experiences — restaurant, bar, and bakery — under one cohesive identity. The logo needed to feel rooted in Latin heritage without relying on tired cultural clichés, and the menu designs needed to be elegant enough to reflect a premium dining experience while remaining warm and approachable. With a launch deadline looming and no existing brand assets to work from, the stakes were high from day one.
Our Approach
Helion360 began by conducting a deep-dive brand discovery session with the founding team to understand the emotional tone they wanted the space to project — vibrant but refined, culturally grounded but modern. From there, the design process moved through concept exploration in vector format, testing logo marks that drew on Chilean visual motifs while maintaining clean, scalable geometry suitable for signage, menus, packaging, and digital use. Typography and color palette were selected to unify the restaurant, bar, and bakery arms of the brand without making each feel identical. For the menu system, the team structured layouts that accommodated high-quality dish photography alongside clear typographic hierarchies, ensuring the menus read beautifully whether a guest was browsing cocktails at the bar or selecting pastries from the bakery counter. Each menu variant was treated as its own designed artifact while remaining visually consistent with the parent brand.
The Outcome
The engagement delivered a complete visual identity system anchored by a primary logo mark with supporting variants for each sub-concept, a defined brand color palette and typography suite, and three distinct menu designs — one each for the restaurant, bar, and bakery — built around high-quality food photography and a layout system that scales cleanly across print formats. The founding team received production-ready files in both print and digital specifications, giving them a professional, launch-ready brand identity that reflected the cultural authenticity and modern ambition they had envisioned. The visual system was designed to grow with the business, supporting future applications such as packaging, social media, and event materials without requiring a brand overhaul.
