The Challenge: A Brand Spread Thin Across Products
Our client, a fast-growing outdoor lifestyle brand, had built a loyal community around their products — but their merchandise told a fragmented story. Their stickers featured one visual language, their t-shirts another, and their hats felt like they belonged to an entirely different company. As they prepared to launch a seasonal campaign, they needed everything to speak with one voice. The goal was clear: create a cohesive multi-product brand campaign that unified stickers, t-shirts, and hats under a single, compelling visual and messaging system.
Our Approach: Strategy Before Aesthetics
At Helion 360, we never start with design. We start with meaning. Before a single mockup was created, our team conducted a brand discovery session to extract the core identity pillars our client wanted to own: rugged adventure, community belonging, and unapologetic authenticity. These three pillars became the foundation of every creative decision that followed.
Building the Campaign Architecture
We developed a unified campaign architecture that defined how the brand would show up across all three product categories. This included a shared color palette derived from earthy outdoor tones, a custom typographic system that balanced boldness with approachability, and a suite of graphic motifs — mountain silhouettes, topographic line patterns, and minimalist iconography — that could flex across product sizes and formats without losing impact.
For stickers, we designed a set of twelve die-cut pieces that worked both individually as collectibles and collectively as a visual set. Each sticker reinforced the campaign theme while offering enough variety to drive excitement and repeat engagement. For t-shirts, we created three distinct graphic treatments — a large back-print hero design, a chest-pocket icon version, and a sleeve-accent style — giving the brand versatility across retail price points and customer preferences. For hats, we focused on embroidery-optimized artwork, translating the flat graphic language into tactile, three-dimensional form without sacrificing brand consistency.
Campaign Messaging and Rollout Guidance
Beyond product design, we developed campaign messaging guidelines that ensured every caption, hang tag, and email headline reinforced the same story. We provided our client with a rollout playbook covering launch sequencing, social media visual templates, and influencer seeding recommendations tailored to the outdoor community. The campaign was designed to build momentum — stickers seeded early as community giveaways, t-shirts anchoring the launch week drop, and hats positioned as the premium tier to sustain engagement through the tail of the campaign.
The Outcome: One Brand, Three Products, Zero Confusion
When the campaign launched, customers immediately recognized the cohesion. Retailers commented that the product line felt like a mature, established brand. Social sharing spiked as customers naturally styled and photographed the pieces together, creating organic content that amplified the campaign's reach far beyond the paid spend. The brand had finally found its visual voice — and its community responded loudly.
