The Challenge
TechTales Media — a content-driven media brand at the intersection of technology and storytelling — was preparing for the simultaneous launch of a new podcast series and a website blog refresh. The challenge was not simply to create attractive graphics, but to build a visually cohesive system that could work across three distinct formats: episodic social media posts, podcast cover art, and blog post header images. Each format carries its own technical requirements and audience context, yet all three needed to feel unmistakably unified under a single brand voice. For a small but ambitious team, maintaining that consistency without a fully developed design system in place made this a particularly nuanced brief.
Our Approach
Helion360 began by auditing TechTales Media's existing brand touchpoints to identify the visual language already at play — color tendencies, typographic patterns, and the overall tone the brand projected. From there, the team developed a compact but comprehensive visual brand identity kit that could serve as a reusable foundation across all three content formats. Social media graphics were designed as a modular series, built so that each episode's theme could be expressed through variations in imagery and accent color while retaining structural consistency across the full set. Podcast cover art was treated as a standalone brand statement — bold, readable at small sizes, and reflective of the show's technology-meets-culture positioning. Blog headers were designed to complement the site's refreshed aesthetic while providing enough visual variety to feel editorial and engaging across different article topics. Throughout the process, the team maintained close alignment with TechTales Media's content calendar to ensure designs were delivered on a timeline that supported the launch sequence.
The Outcome
The project delivered a complete visual asset library spanning podcast cover art, a full series of social media episode graphics optimized for multiple platforms, and a set of custom blog header images ready for immediate deployment on the refreshed website. TechTales Media gained not only the immediate assets needed for launch, but a repeatable visual framework — consistent enough to feel branded, flexible enough to scale as new episodes and articles are published. The result was a brand presence that could show up confidently across social feeds, podcast directories, and the web simultaneously.
