The Challenge
A small but fast-growing startup needed more than just a logo — they needed a cohesive visual world. The brief spanned three distinct creative disciplines: a distinctive logo that could hold its own in a competitive market, original character illustrations that embodied the brand's playful personality, and bold merchandise graphics ready for apparel and live events. The complexity lay not just in the breadth of deliverables, but in the need for all three to feel unified — different formats, different use cases, but unmistakably the same brand. Achieving that consistency while preserving creative energy across each medium required both strategic thinking and versatile artistic execution.
Our Approach
Helion360 began by running a focused brand discovery session to understand the startup's tone, target audience, and the emotional impression they wanted to leave. From there, the team developed a logo concept that balanced distinctiveness with versatility — something that could work on a screen, a storefront, and a garment without losing its impact. Simultaneously, the character art direction was developed as an extension of the brand's quirky, energetic identity, with each illustration built to feel expressive yet consistent across future applications. The merchandise graphics were treated as a standalone creative challenge — bold compositions designed for fabric printing, with high-contrast palettes and strong silhouettes that read well at both small and large scale. Rounds of iterative feedback were incorporated throughout, ensuring the final deliverables matched the client's vision while staying commercially viable.
The Outcome
The project delivered a complete visual identity system encompassing a finalized logo suite, a set of original character illustrations, and multiple print-ready t-shirt graphic designs. The startup walked away with assets that were immediately deployable across digital platforms, merchandise production, and event collateral — all carrying a consistent and memorable aesthetic. The character art in particular gave the brand a distinctive edge, creating a visual language that could grow with the company over time. Helion360 helped transform an early-stage creative brief into a tangible, production-ready identity that the team could confidently present to customers, partners, and collaborators.
