The Challenge
A children's toy brand approaching a product launch needed more than a single video — they needed two distinctly styled animated pieces that would work together as a cohesive marketing suite. The first was a 2D character-driven animation designed to capture the playfulness and excitement of the toys themselves, showing young audiences how the products work in an engaging, story-led format. The second was a motion graphics video intended to communicate product features and benefits in a dynamic, informative way for a broader brand marketing push. Producing both formats simultaneously — while maintaining a unified visual identity, consistent color language, and shared aesthetic logic — required careful creative coordination and a high level of production craft across two entirely different animation disciplines.
Our Approach
Helion360 began by establishing a shared visual framework that could flex across both formats without losing the distinct personality each video needed to convey. The creative team reviewed the client's storyboards, character design briefs, color palettes, and scripts before building a master style guide that governed typography, color treatment, and motion timing across both productions. The 2D animation was developed with expressive character work and background illustration that placed the toys in imaginative play scenarios, keeping the pacing lively and the storytelling accessible for younger viewers. In parallel, the motion graphics video was crafted with clean, purposeful animation sequences that layered product visuals with kinetic text and iconography — ensuring each feature landed clearly within the 60-second runtime. Feedback rounds were managed in tandem so revisions on one video could inform consistency checks on the other, keeping the project efficient and aligned throughout.
The Outcome
The project delivered two fully produced animated videos, each approximately 60 seconds in length, with polished production values and a cohesive look that reinforced the brand's modern yet playful positioning. The 2D animation brought the toys to life through character-driven storytelling that resonated immediately with the target child audience, while the motion graphics video gave the brand a professional, feature-forward asset suited for digital advertising and retail marketing channels. Together, the two videos provided the brand with a complete launch content package — covering emotional engagement on one end and product education on the other — ready for deployment across social media, e-commerce, and campaign placements.
Helion360 regularly supports product brands in need of animation that does more than look polished — work that is built with audience, message, and business context in mind from the very first frame.
