The Challenge
A growing tech startup needed to communicate the value of its workflow automation product through a series of short-form explainer videos — each roughly two minutes long. The challenge was not simply producing animation; it was translating a genuinely complex, technical product into visuals that felt intuitive, engaging, and on-brand. The client had a script and a creative direction in mind, but required a motion graphics team capable of interpreting abstract software workflows and rendering them as fluid, story-driven animation. The stakes were high — these videos were intended to serve as primary marketing assets, meaning they needed to hold a viewer's attention from the first frame to the last while accurately representing how the product worked.
Our Approach
Helion360 began with a thorough review of the provided scripts and an alignment session with the client's creative team to establish visual language, pacing, and brand tone before a single frame was animated. The design process started with storyboard development, mapping each scene to the narrative arc of the script so that motion and messaging moved in sync. From there, the team built a cohesive motion graphics system — a set of reusable animated components including UI mockups, data flow diagrams, iconography, and transition elements — that could be applied consistently across the full video series. Typography, color grading, and motion timing were all calibrated to reflect the startup's brand identity while maintaining the energy needed to sustain viewer engagement. Close collaboration with the client throughout each production phase ensured that revisions were minimal and that the final output required no significant rework.
