The Challenge
A tech startup approached us with an ambitious but complex brief: they needed a complete design foundation built from scratch — all at once. This meant a fully scalable Figma design system with documented components, a distinctive logo, comprehensive corporate identity (CI) materials, and high-fidelity interactive click dummies to validate their product experience before development began. The stakes were high because every deliverable had to be tightly aligned — the design system had to reflect the brand identity, the click dummies had to be built on top of the design system components, and the documentation had to be thorough enough for the development team to implement without ambiguity. Tight deadlines and the need for adaptive design principles added another layer of complexity to an already multi-threaded project.
Our Approach
Helion360 tackled this engagement as a single, unified design initiative rather than a series of disconnected tasks. The work began with brand discovery — defining the visual language, color palette, typography, and iconography that would anchor both the logo and the broader corporate identity. Once the brand foundation was established, those decisions were codified directly into the Figma design system, ensuring every component — buttons, form fields, cards, navigation patterns, and more — inherited consistent styling from the outset. The design system was built with scalability and adaptive layout principles in mind, with each component fully annotated and documented for developer handoff. Simultaneously, the interactive click dummies were assembled using the live component library, enabling stakeholders to experience realistic user flows before a single line of code was written. Logo variants and CI materials — including usage guidelines — were delivered alongside the system to ensure brand coherence across every touchpoint.
The Outcome
The engagement resulted in a production-ready Figma design system with a documented component library, a polished multi-variant logo suite, a complete set of CI materials, and fully interactive click dummies covering the startup's core user journeys. The development team received a clean, annotated handoff that significantly reduced back-and-forth during the build phase. Stakeholders were able to walk through realistic prototypes and validate flows early, avoiding costly design changes post-development. The brand identity and design system were built to grow with the company, giving the startup a strong, cohesive visual foundation it could scale confidently.
Helion360 works with startups and technology companies that need design infrastructure built right the first time — from brand identity through to developer-ready component systems.
