The Challenge
The client was developing a children's sticker book aimed at a broad age range of 3 to 10 years old and needed a series of original illustrations executed in a distinctive low poly geometric style. The creative brief called for vibrant, playful visuals featuring animals, vehicles, and everyday objects — all rendered with enough visual clarity to appeal to young children while maintaining the clean, angular aesthetic of low poly design. The complexity lay in balancing two opposing demands: the geometric minimalism inherent to the low poly style and the warmth, energy, and accessibility that young audiences expect. Beyond aesthetics, every illustration had to be technically production-ready, meaning clean edges, high resolution, and compositions suitable for die-cut sticker printing.
Our Approach
Helion360 began by establishing a cohesive visual language for the sticker book — defining a consistent color palette that felt both bold and child-friendly, while setting clear guidelines on polygon density to ensure shapes remained recognizable at small sticker sizes. Each subject category — animals, vehicles, and everyday objects — was approached with its own compositional logic, ensuring visual variety across the full set without sacrificing stylistic unity. Reference exploration and concept sketching were completed before any final artwork was committed, allowing the client to review the artistic direction early and provide input before production scaled up. Final illustrations were delivered as high-resolution vector-based files, precision-built for sticker cutout tolerances and print-ready output across digital and offset formats.
The Outcome
The project resulted in a complete set of original low poly geometric illustrations purpose-built for the children's sticker book format. Each piece was delivered print-ready with clean vector paths, vibrant color application, and compositions optimized for sticker die-cutting. The final artwork covered the full thematic scope requested — animals, vehicles, and familiar objects — presented in a cohesive visual style that balanced geometric sophistication with the playful energy the target audience demands. The client received a sticker book illustration suite that was both creatively distinctive and commercially production-ready.
Helion360 brings the same level of creative precision and production discipline to illustration projects as it does to bold 3D fabric illustrations and custom illustrations for branded spaces — ensuring every deliverable is built to perform, not just to impress.
