The Challenge
A small tech startup approached us with an urgent need: a clean, modern logo that would anchor their visual identity across digital and print formats. The brief was specific and uncompromising — no stock imagery, no AI-generated graphics, and nothing generic. The founder wanted something genuinely original that embodied the company's values of simplicity, forward-thinking design, and creative innovation. The logo needed to work as a wordmark or geometric symbol, remain legible at small sizes such as business cards, and scale up cleanly for larger print applications. Compressing all of this into a tight deadline added an extra layer of pressure to the project.
Our Approach
Helion360 began with a structured discovery phase, reviewing the startup's positioning, tone, and competitive landscape to understand what visual differentiation would mean in their context. The design team developed multiple concept directions — exploring geometric mark construction, clean sans-serif lettering systems, and hybrid approaches that combined both. Each concept was built from scratch using vector tools, with no template shortcuts or AI-generated shortcuts involved. Multiple sketch rounds were shared with the client early in the process, allowing for directional feedback before committing to refinements. Typography choices were evaluated for weight, spacing, and scalability, ensuring the final wordmark would hold its form whether rendered on a 16×16 favicon or a large-format banner. The selected concept was then refined into a full production-ready logo suite, including both horizontal and stacked lockups, monochrome variations, and color versions.
The Outcome
The final deliverable included a complete set of logo files formatted for both digital and print use — SVG, PNG, EPS, and PDF formats — along with clear guidance on usage across backgrounds and contexts. The startup received a logo system that was immediately deployable across their website, social profiles, and business cards without any additional rework. The geometric direction chosen gave the brand a precise, modern character that resonated with the startup's innovation-first positioning. The client noted that the logo felt genuinely distinct from anything in their competitive space, which was precisely the goal from the outset.
Helion360 works with early-stage companies and growth-focused startups that need original, craft-driven brand design — not templated shortcuts.
