The Challenge
A growing brand came to us mid-revamp, needing to overhaul both their website visuals and printed brochure under a tight deadline. The brief was deceptively broad: achieve a clean, modern aesthetic while also incorporating custom illustrations that would make the brand feel distinct and memorable. The complexity lay in balancing two very different design environments — digital and print — while maintaining visual consistency across both. Generic stock visuals were not an option. The client needed original artwork that could carry weight in a brochure layout, scale cleanly on a website, and still feel unified as part of a single brand story. With limited budget and an accelerating timeline, there was no room for exploratory back-and-forth. Every design decision had to count from the start.
Our Approach
Helion360 began with a focused discovery phase, reviewing the client's existing brand assets and content to identify gaps in visual language and tone. Rather than treating the website and brochure as separate briefs, the team approached them as two expressions of the same identity — ensuring that typographic choices, color usage, and illustration style were established once and applied consistently across both outputs. Custom illustrations were developed to complement the editorial grid rather than compete with it, sitting naturally within page layouts and reinforcing the content hierarchy. The entire workflow was executed in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign, allowing precise control over both vector artwork and multi-page layout. Feedback cycles were kept tight and structured to protect the timeline without sacrificing design quality.
The Outcome
The engagement produced a cohesive set of print-ready brochure layouts and digital-ready design assets, all anchored by a suite of original custom illustrations developed specifically for the brand. The visual system established through this project — including illustration style, editorial grid structure, and typographic hierarchy — gave the client a scalable foundation they could apply to future materials without starting from scratch. Deliverables were completed within the client's deadline, and the brand emerged from the process with a sharper, more distinctive visual presence across both digital and physical touchpoints.
Helion360 brings this same editorial discipline and illustration craft to brands that need more than generic design — teams that want custom illustrations and visual identity systems built to last.
