The Challenge
Water Jug came to us as a newly launched wellness brand with a clear mission — sell eco-friendly products made from recycled materials — but without a visual identity to match. The founder needed a logo that could do a great deal of heavy lifting: communicate sustainability and environmental responsibility while remaining approachable and modern enough to resonate with everyday consumers. The brief called for something specific — a water droplet motif with a subtle recycled-material texture — but translating that conceptual direction into a polished, scalable mark required navigating the tension between visual simplicity and meaningful symbolism. Starting from scratch with no existing brand equity meant every design decision had to simultaneously establish trust, reflect values, and stand out in a growing eco-product market.
Our Approach
The Helion360 design team began by anchoring the creative direction in the brand's core promise: sustainability through simplicity. Rather than overloading the mark with environmental iconography, the team pursued a restrained visual language where a single, well-crafted form could carry the full weight of the brand story. The water droplet was refined into a clean geometric shape, then layered with a subtle organic texture inspired by recycled fiber patterns — giving the mark depth and intentionality without visual noise. Typography was selected to complement the icon with a modern sans-serif that felt grounded and unpretentious. Color palette decisions leaned into muted, nature-derived tones that signal eco-consciousness without resorting to clichéd greens. Multiple concept directions were developed and refined through structured feedback rounds to ensure the final mark aligned with the founder's vision before any final files were prepared.
The Outcome
The project delivered a complete primary logo mark for Water Jug — including the icon, wordmark, and combined lockup — along with color and typography specifications suitable for immediate brand application. The final design successfully balanced the founder's dual requirements of modern aesthetics and eco-friendly identity, producing a mark that feels credible on product packaging, digital platforms, and print collateral alike. The water droplet icon with its recycled-material texture treatment gave the brand a distinctive visual shorthand that communicates its values at a glance, positioning Water Jug with a professional brand presence from day one of its market entry.
