The Challenge
The client came in with all the raw ingredients — a high-quality photograph, a freshly designed logo, and a chosen font title — but needed them woven together into a single, cohesive piece of album artwork that could hold its own across streaming platforms, physical formats, and social media. The complexity was not in the individual assets but in the composition: album artwork lives in a range of sizes and contexts, from a thumbnail on Spotify to a full bleed on Apple Music or a printed insert, and every pixel must read clearly at each scale. Beyond technical sizing requirements, the artwork needed to project a distinct artistic identity, ensuring the visual language of the logo, type, and photography felt intentional and unified rather than assembled.
Our Approach
Helion360 began by conducting a thorough review of the supplied assets — analyzing the tone and color temperature of the photograph, the geometric character of the logo, and the typographic personality of the selected font. The goal was to establish a visual hierarchy that let each element breathe while still functioning as a single composition. The photograph was treated and color-graded to complement the brand palette implied by the logo, ensuring tonal consistency across the entire piece. The logo was positioned and scaled to anchor the composition without competing with the title typography, and the font treatment was refined with careful tracking, sizing, and placement to maximize legibility at small display sizes. Multiple layout variants were developed to test how the artwork performed across square, rectangular, and thumbnail formats before a final version was locked.
The Outcome
The result was a polished, production-ready album artwork suite fully optimized for multi-platform deployment. The final deliverable presented a cohesive visual identity — the photograph, logo, and title typography working in concert to communicate the artist's brand at a glance. The composition retained its visual clarity and emotional impact whether displayed as a 3000×3000 px master file or scaled down to a 60 px streaming thumbnail. The client received a design that not only met platform technical specifications but elevated the perceived professionalism of the release, ensuring the artwork made a strong first impression across every digital and physical touchpoint.
Helion360 brings the same attention to composition, hierarchy, and brand consistency to every creative asset it produces — whether that is album artwork, brand collateral, or visual identity systems.
