The Challenge
An ambitious indie game studio operating with a lean team needed to simultaneously build out a multi-platform game title, maintain a visually consistent brand identity, and grow an engaged online community — all without the budget of a large publisher. The complexity lay not just in executing three distinct disciplines at once, but in ensuring they worked in lockstep: game assets had to align with marketing visuals, social media messaging had to reflect the game's evolving narrative, and the overall player-facing brand needed to feel cohesive across every touchpoint. Managing this level of creative and strategic coordination from within a small team was simply not sustainable, and the studio needed a capable external partner who could move fast without sacrificing quality.
Our Approach
Helion360 embedded itself into the studio's workflow as a cross-functional creative partner, bridging the gap between game production, visual design, and community growth. The team began by auditing the studio's existing assets and social presence to identify inconsistencies and missed opportunities in how the game was being communicated externally. From there, a unified visual language was established — one that could be applied across in-game UI references, promotional materials, and social content simultaneously. Social media campaign design was structured around the game's development milestones, turning behind-the-scenes progress into community-building moments rather than simple announcements. Graphic production covered everything from promotional banners and platform store assets to community engagement graphics designed to spark conversation and shareability. Throughout the process, every creative output was reviewed against the game's core identity to ensure consistency and momentum.
The Outcome
The studio received a fully integrated creative package: a suite of on-brand social media campaign assets, platform-ready promotional graphics, and a structured community engagement strategy that gave the team a repeatable playbook for ongoing content. The social channels saw measurable growth in follower engagement during the campaign window, and the game's visual identity became noticeably more coherent across all external-facing materials. The studio was able to enter its next development phase with both a stronger community foundation and a design system they could build on independently.
Helion360 brings the same integrated approach to studios and creative teams that need design, strategy, and brand execution to work as a single, connected effort rather than isolated deliverables.
