The Challenge
The client had two short videos — each under one minute — that had been recorded as plain clips with no visual embellishments, overlays, or branded elements. The footage was functional but lacked the visual polish needed to feel intentional and on-brand. Beyond simply enhancing the videos, the client had a secondary requirement that made this project particularly nuanced: they wanted to understand the process well enough to apply it themselves in the future. That meant the deliverable could not just be a finished file — it had to come with clear, replicable documentation. Matching a specific visual style based on reference examples the client shared added another layer of precision to the work.
Our Approach
Helion360 began by studying the reference examples provided by the client to extract the underlying visual language — colour palette, typography treatment, graphic element placement, and overall motion style. Both videos were treated as a cohesive set rather than two isolated tasks, ensuring visual consistency across the pair. Graphics were designed and integrated to complement the existing footage without overpowering it, with careful attention to timing and placement within the sub-one-minute runtime. Once the video enhancements were complete, the team produced detailed step-by-step training documentation outlining every design decision and production step — written clearly enough for a non-designer to follow and replicate the process independently in a standard editing environment.
The Outcome
Both videos were delivered with fully integrated, style-matched graphics that elevated the raw footage into polished, visually consistent content ready for distribution. Alongside the enhanced videos, the client received a comprehensive set of written instructions covering the entire graphics workflow — from element selection and placement to export settings — giving them the capability to handle similar work in-house going forward. The dual deliverable addressed both the immediate production need and the longer-term learning objective, making it a complete and self-contained engagement.
Helion360 regularly handles video graphics projects that combine visual production with knowledge transfer, ensuring clients leave with more than just a finished file.
