The Challenge
The client came to us with three layered Photoshop files and a clear creative vision: flowers needed to organically bloom and grow out from behind typographic elements, echoing the lush, natural feel of high-end floral animation templates. The third graphic added another layer of complexity — it combined two images and required the text to slide outward from a central split before the flowers bloomed into frame. The challenge was not simply animating elements, but preserving the intent and delicacy of the original artwork while engineering smooth, timed motion that felt alive rather than mechanical. Translating static PSD layers into believable, sequenced movement within a one-to-two-second window demanded both technical precision and a strong sense of visual storytelling.
Our Approach
Helion360 began by dissecting each PSD file to map the layer hierarchy — separating floral elements, stem groups, petals, and text layers into logical animation sequences. Each flower was treated as an individual organism, with growth paths carefully plotted so blooms appeared to emerge naturally from behind the letterforms rather than simply scaling into view. Timing curves were calibrated to ease organically, avoiding mechanical uniformity and giving each element its own sense of weight and momentum. For the third composite graphic, a split-reveal technique was applied to the text, allowing it to slide outward from the center seam before the floral elements unfurled around it. Adobe After Effects was the primary tool, with each PSD layer imported and mapped to individual keyframe sequences to give the team granular control over the final motion.
The Outcome
The project delivered three polished animated sequences, each between one and two seconds in duration, that transformed static branded artwork into living motion graphics. The floral growth animations felt natural and elegant, with petals and stems blooming in staggered sequence behind the text — exactly matching the organic, cinematic quality the client referenced. The combined third graphic achieved a seamless split-text reveal followed by a full floral bloom, creating a dynamic, visually cohesive result appropriate for use across digital platforms, event visuals, or promotional content. Each animation was exported in a production-ready format, requiring no further refinement before deployment.
Helion360 specializes in this kind of detail-oriented motion work — where the goal is not just movement, but movement that feels intentional, crafted, and true to the original design vision.
