The Challenge
Creating a logo that feels both minimal and meaningful is one of the more deceptively difficult tasks in brand design. This client needed a personal brand mark built around a single letter — 'A' — and a plus sign, intended for use across social media profiles and personal branding touchpoints. The brief called for simplicity, but the real challenge was deeper: the mark had to feel distinctive enough to stand out in a crowded digital landscape, legible at small sizes like profile thumbnails, and warm enough to communicate the client's friendly and approachable personality. A generic monogram would not suffice — the design needed to feel considered, cohesive, and ownable.

The team explored multiple interpretations of how the letter 'A' and the plus sign could interact — not just sitting side by side, but visually integrating them so the two elements felt like a unified mark. Colour palette options were also explored to ensure the mark would translate cleanly against both light and dark social media backgrounds.

The final deliverable was a set of refined logo variations built around a cohesive personal brand mark that integrated the letter 'A' and the plus symbol into a clean, scalable identity. Each variation was optimised for digital use, with clear readability at icon scale and strong visual presence at larger display sizes. The client received a complete logo package suitable for immediate deployment across social media profiles, cover images, and personal website use.
