The client came to us with a logo that existed only as a layered PSD file — functional for some purposes, but fundamentally limited when it came to cross-platform deployment. Raster-based files like PSDs are resolution-dependent, meaning the logo would degrade or distort whenever it was scaled up for large-format use, embedded in web environments, or submitted to vendors requiring print-ready formats. The client needed the logo faithfully recreated in four distinct output formats — SVG, WebP, EPS, and PNG — each serving a different technical use case. The core difficulty was not just file conversion but ensuring that every curve, color value, spacing decision, and typographic element from the original design was preserved with pixel-perfect accuracy across all outputs.
Our Approach
Helion360 began by conducting a thorough audit of the source PSD file, isolating each layer, identifying font usage, and mapping the exact color profiles in use. Rather than using automated conversion tools that often introduce path errors or color shifts, the team manually recreated the logo in Adobe Illustrator — rebuilding every element as clean, scalable vector paths. This approach ensured that the output files were structurally sound and technically optimized for their intended environments. The SVG was optimized for web embedding with clean markup, the EPS was prepared for print and vendor submission, the PNG was exported at multiple resolutions with transparent backgrounds for digital use, and the WebP was compressed for performance-focused web delivery without sacrificing visual quality. Each file was cross-checked against the original PSD to confirm design fidelity before delivery.
