Rock Harbor had reached a landmark milestone — 10 years in business with over $3.5 billion invested and growing — and they needed a way to communicate that achievement with the same gravitas it deserved. The ask was a 15-second animated video, designed for LinkedIn and their website, that would take their existing logo and transform it into a dynamic celebration of the decade. The complexity was not just technical; it was narrative. The animation needed to tell a story within a tight runtime, moving through multiple visual states — a full logo reveal, an intimate zoom into a lighthouse detail, a symbolic morphing sequence where logo elements transform into the number "10," and a finale complete with celebratory fireworks and brand messaging. Achieving that level of sequential storytelling in under 15 seconds, while keeping the motion polished and the brand intact, required precise planning and skilled motion design execution.
Our Approach
Helion360 began by mapping the full animation sequence against the available runtime, ensuring each beat had the right pacing to feel intentional rather than rushed. The animation opened with the complete Rock Harbor logo centered on screen, then used a slow, deliberate zoom to draw the viewer's eye into the lighthouse element nested within the logo. From there, the lighthouse was animated to gently lift free of its surrounding artwork — a moment designed to feel organic rather than mechanical. The lighthouse then shifted to the left of the frame and morphed fluidly into the numeral "1," while simultaneously the outer circle of the original logo expanded rightward and resolved into a "0," together forming "10." Celebratory fireworks were layered into the background to amplify the milestone energy. The sequence closed by bringing the full logo back into frame alongside the tagline "Celebrating 10 Years" and the achievement line "Over $3.5B Invested and Growing" — reinforcing both the brand and the accomplishment in a single, confident closing frame.
