The Challenge
The client needed a complete suite of print materials — flyers, door hangers, and yard signs — that would work cohesively across trade show environments and direct neighborhood marketing. The complexity lay not just in producing three distinct formats, but in ensuring all pieces felt like a single, unified brand voice. Each format carried different physical constraints: the flyer needed to be informationally rich yet visually compelling at a glance, the door hangers had to deliver impact in a compact space with minimal text, and the yard signs required large-format clarity with weather-resistant production specs. Designing for all three simultaneously, while maintaining brand consistency and ensuring all files were print-ready and scalable, demanded a disciplined, system-level approach to visual design.
Our Approach
Helion360 began by establishing a shared visual language — a cohesive palette, typographic hierarchy, and logo placement system — that would scale naturally from the smallest door hanger to the largest yard sign without losing legibility or brand character. The flyer layout was structured to lead with the logo prominently at the top, followed by a clear value proposition, supporting detail, and a bold call-to-action driving visitors to the client's website. Contact information was treated as a design element, not an afterthought, ensuring it was immediately visible without cluttering the composition.
For the door hangers, the team stripped the message down to essentials — the logo, a punchy two-line tagline, and a single contact touchpoint — prioritizing legibility from a distance and immediate visual recognition when placed on mailboxes or door handles. The yard signs were designed at 18 by 24 inches with high-contrast color blocking and bold, concise copy that communicated the client's key differentiators — particularly their customer service reputation and value proposition — in under five seconds of viewing time. All assets were exported in print-ready formats with appropriate bleed, trim marks, and color profiles for professional production.
The Outcome
The engagement delivered three fully production-ready print asset sets — a formatted flyer, a door hanger pair (front and back), and a yard sign — all consistent in brand tone, color usage, and typographic style. Every file was sized, formatted, and exported to meet standard commercial printing specifications, with scalable source files provided for future resizing or reprinting. The client received a coherent visual toolkit capable of representing their brand across multiple physical touchpoints — from busy trade show floors to residential streets — with the same professional consistency.
Helion360 approaches print design with the same strategic intent applied to digital brand work, ensuring that every physical touchpoint reinforces the brand rather than fragmenting it.
