The Challenge
A fast-growing startup came to us with an urgent need to establish a consistent, on-brand visual presence across two of the most competitive social platforms — Instagram and LinkedIn. Their social feeds were inconsistent, reflecting no unified brand language, and the team lacked the design infrastructure to produce content at scale. The challenge was not simply to create a few attractive posts, but to build a full visual system that their internal team could maintain and expand without losing coherence. Every piece of content needed to feel distinctly theirs — energetic, modern, and credible — while also being optimised for the very different audiences and content formats each platform demands.
Our Approach
Helion360 began by conducting a rapid brand audit, reviewing the startup's existing assets, tone of voice, and competitor landscape to identify what their visual identity was missing. From there, the team developed a core design system — defining a colour palette, typography hierarchy, iconography style, and grid structure — that could serve as the foundation for all social output. Instagram templates were crafted for feed posts, quote cards, and announcement graphics, with a strong emphasis on visual rhythm and scroll-stopping impact. LinkedIn content was approached with a parallel but distinct sensibility: cleaner compositions, more structured layouts, and a tone that balanced the startup's energy with professional credibility. All assets were built in Canva, enabling the client's team to update copy, swap images, and publish new content independently without requiring a designer for every iteration.
The Outcome
The engagement delivered a comprehensive library of ready-to-use social media templates spanning both Instagram and LinkedIn, built on a unified visual system that gave the startup a polished, professional presence from day one. The Canva-based delivery ensured the internal team could hit the ground running immediately, reducing their reliance on external design support for routine content. The brand went from a fragmented, ad hoc feed to a visually cohesive channel that accurately reflected the company's identity and ambition. Posts became recognisably theirs — consistent in style, adaptable in content, and built to perform across both platforms.
