A growing e-commerce business rooted in simplicity and sustainability needed a complete physical brand collateral system — business cards, hang tags, and shopping bags — that would speak authentically to its values while standing out in a crowded market. The challenge was not just aesthetic but strategic: every design element had to feel cohesive across three very different print formats, each with its own proportions, use case, and audience touchpoint. The brand demanded earthy, grounded tones balanced with subtle pops of color, professional typography that could scale across both print and digital applications, and high-resolution assets with transparent backgrounds ready for seamless integration into digital platforms. Getting all of this to work in harmony — while remaining true to a sustainability-first identity — required more than decorative design; it required a disciplined system.
Our Approach
Helion360 approached this project as a brand identity exercise first and a production task second. The process began with a thorough review of the client's brand messaging, values, and tone to ensure the visual language would feel intentional rather than decorative. A cohesive color palette was developed anchored in warm earthy tones — soft taupes, natural greens, and muted creams — punctuated with selective, vibrant accent colors to create contrast without undermining the brand's grounded character. Typography was chosen for its dual-purpose versatility, pairing a clean serif for brand authority with a modern sans-serif for readability across both printed tags and digital mockups. Each of the three collateral pieces — the business card, the hang tag, and the shopping bag — was designed as a distinct but harmonious unit within the same visual system. All files were delivered as high-resolution PNGs with transparent backgrounds, fully scalable and production-ready for both print vendors and digital platforms.
