The Challenge
A fast-growing tech startup based in San Francisco had an existing logo but lacked the visual infrastructure to support it across digital touchpoints. Their email campaigns, website graphics, and social media presence each felt disconnected — designed in isolation rather than as part of a coherent brand story. With an audience-first product and high growth ambitions, the team needed a unified visual language that could scale across channels, maintain consistency in tone and style, and still feel fresh and engaging on each platform. The complexity lay not just in producing attractive assets, but in building a flexible system that non-designers on the team could apply reliably going forward.
Our Approach
Helion360 began by conducting a thorough visual audit of the startup's existing brand materials, identifying inconsistencies in typography, color application, and graphic style across their digital presence. From there, the team established a core visual identity framework — anchored to the existing logo — that defined a refined color palette, type hierarchy, iconography style, and spacing standards. These foundations were then translated into channel-specific design systems: email template layouts optimized for readability and click-through, web graphics sized and structured for hero sections, banners, and feature blocks, and a social media graphic suite covering feed posts, stories, and promotional banners. Every asset was built to feel native to its platform while remaining unmistakably part of the same brand family. Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign were used throughout production, with final deliverables organized into a structured asset library for ease of use by the internal team.
The Outcome
The engagement resulted in a complete multi-channel brand visual system — including a documented visual style guide, a set of reusable email templates, a library of web graphics, and a full social media asset suite spanning multiple formats and use cases. The startup gained not just a collection of polished designs, but a repeatable system their team could extend independently. Visual consistency across email, website, and social media was achieved for the first time, giving the brand a professional, cohesive presence that matched the ambition of the product behind it.
Helion360 works with startups and growth-stage companies that need scalable brand design systems built to last — not just one-off assets that fall apart at scale.
