The Challenge
A growing tech startup based in San Francisco came to us at a critical stage: they were preparing to launch a new product line and needed a cohesive brand identity system that could keep pace with their ambitions. The challenge was not simply designing a logo — it was building a brand system flexible enough to function across every touchpoint, from digital platforms and social media to print collateral and branded merchandise. The identity had to communicate innovation and modernity without sacrificing versatility, and the banner designs needed to feel both visually arresting and organically aligned with the core brand. Balancing those requirements while producing multiple format variations — including a more minimalist social media adaptation — required both strategic thinking and precise design execution.
Our Approach
Helion360 began with a discovery phase to understand the startup's product positioning, target audience, and competitive landscape within the San Francisco tech scene. From there, the design team developed a primary logo concept built around clean geometry and forward-leaning typography to signal innovation and reliability. Multiple logo lockups were created to ensure adaptability — horizontal, stacked, icon-only, and reversed variants — so the mark would remain impactful regardless of context or scale. The banner suite was developed in direct continuity with the logo, using a consistent visual language of structured layouts, bold focal points, and a restrained color palette that could flex between high-impact promotional use and the cleaner, more minimalist aesthetic requested for social media applications. Each deliverable was designed with real-world usage scenarios in mind, from large-format digital banners to compact social post crops.
The Outcome
The engagement produced a complete brand identity system — including a primary logo with full variant set, a series of branded banners optimized for multiple digital and print dimensions, and platform-specific social media creatives featuring the minimalist treatment the client requested. Every asset was delivered as a production-ready file package, export-ready for web, print, and merchandise applications. The startup came away with a polished, scalable visual identity that aligned with their growth trajectory and presented a consistent, professional face across every channel.
Helion360 works with early-stage and growth-phase tech companies that need brand systems built to last — not just logos, but the full visual architecture that supports every communication their brand puts into the world.
