The Challenge
A growing design studio needed a unified visual identity system capable of spanning multiple output types — from polished branding elements and product imagery to motion graphics assets — all while maintaining strict consistency across creative executions. The complexity lay not just in the volume of deliverables, but in the technical depth required: the studio demanded seamless integration between photorealistic 3D renders and high-end photo compositing, with no margin for visual inconsistency. Bridging Cinema 4D's 3D environment with Adobe Photoshop's compositing pipeline in a way that felt intentional and brand-coherent, rather than stitched together, was the central design challenge.
Our Approach
Helion360 began by establishing a foundational visual language — defining the lighting logic, material textures, and depth-of-field conventions that would govern every 3D asset produced in Cinema 4D. This ensured that renders, regardless of the scene or product being depicted, shared a consistent visual signature before entering the compositing stage. In Photoshop, each render was refined through careful colour grading, masking, and atmospheric layering to anchor 3D elements within photographic environments without any perceptible seam. Branding elements were developed in parallel, with typography, iconography, and colour palette rules documented to extend the system across both static and motion-ready formats. Motion graphics directions were also established, giving the studio a ready-to-animate asset library that carried the same visual logic through to moving media.
The Outcome
The result was a fully realised visual identity system that the studio could deploy across branding collateral, product marketing visuals, and motion graphics productions without losing coherence. Deliverables included a comprehensive set of 3D-rendered product images, composite scene visuals, branded graphic elements, and a structured asset library ready for motion graphics adaptation. The system gave the studio's internal team a repeatable workflow — from creative brief to final export — that elevated output quality while reducing the back-and-forth typically associated with multi-format design projects. Every asset met the studio's brand standards and was production-ready from delivery.
If your studio or brand needs a visual system that holds together across 3D, photography, and motion — Helion360 builds identities that scale.
