The Challenge
A fast-growing tech startup based in San Francisco was preparing for a high-stakes product launch and needed a cohesive visual campaign built from the ground up — and fast. The challenge was not simply designing attractive assets; it was creating a unified visual language that could work across two entirely different formats simultaneously. Display ads demand immediate visual impact within small, compressed spaces, while email templates require layout hierarchy, readability, and consistent brand tone across multiple content sections. With a tight one-month timeline, at least five unique display ads and five custom email templates to deliver, and brand guidelines that needed to be carried through every single asset, there was no room for misalignment or iteration delays. The startup had high expectations and a launch date that would not move.
Our Approach
Helion360 opened the engagement with a thorough brand alignment session to understand the startup's visual identity, tone, color palette, and the story they needed to tell at launch. Rather than treating the display ads and email templates as separate deliverables, the team approached them as two expressions of a single campaign narrative. Every design decision made for the ads — typography scale, color hierarchy, imagery style — was deliberately carried into the email layouts, ensuring that a recipient who saw an ad and then opened an email would experience the same visual world. Each of the five display ads was crafted in multiple standard IAB sizes to maximize placement versatility across digital channels. The email templates were built with modular sections to allow the startup's internal team to swap content without breaking the visual structure. Every asset was produced in Adobe Creative Suite and exported in formats ready for immediate deployment across platforms.
The Outcome
The project was completed within the agreed timeframe, delivering five polished display ad sets across multiple size formats and five fully structured email templates — all anchored to the client's brand guidelines. The startup walked away with a launch-ready visual toolkit that gave their campaign a consistent, professional presence across paid digital channels and direct email communications. The modular email templates in particular gave the internal marketing team the flexibility to deploy multiple campaign variants without requiring ongoing design support. The display ads were described by the client as among the most visually refined assets their team had worked with. Helion360 delivered not just design files, but a scalable visual system built to grow with the brand.
