The Challenge
A growing startup came to us with a collection of bitmap logo files that were simply not built for scale. The logos looked acceptable at small sizes but broke down visually when applied to larger formats — presentations, signage, merchandise, and digital platforms all exposed the pixelation and inconsistency baked into the original raster files. Beyond the resolution problem, the logos had accumulated small inconsistencies over time: uneven stroke weights, misaligned anchor points, typography that lacked crispness, and color values that drifted from the intended brand palette. The client needed these assets rebuilt from the ground up as true scalable vector files, while simultaneously ensuring that every rebuilt mark stayed faithful to the original brand aesthetic and met the company's evolving brand guidelines. The complexity lay not just in technical conversion, but in making design judgment calls that preserved intent while improving quality.
Our Approach
Helion360 approached this project as both a technical and a creative exercise. The team began by auditing each bitmap logo to understand the original design intent, cataloguing issues such as unclean edges, rasterized text, inconsistent spacing, and degraded color accuracy. Using Adobe Illustrator as the primary tool, each logo was manually redrawn and traced rather than relying solely on automated vectorization — a deliberate choice that ensured every curve, corner, and typographic element was reconstructed with precision rather than approximated by an algorithm. Typography within the logos received particular attention, with letterforms redrawn or matched to the correct typefaces to restore clarity and readability at all sizes. Color values were standardized against the client's brand guidelines, and all vector paths were cleaned of redundant nodes and overlapping shapes. Throughout the process, the team maintained close communication with the client to review iterations and confirm that each revised logo aligned with their visual standards before finalization.
The Outcome
The project delivered a complete set of professionally vectorized logo files in AI, EPS, SVG, and PDF formats, each fully scalable without any loss of quality across digital and print applications. Typography was clean and readable at every size, color consistency was restored across all marks, and every file was structured with organized layers and named paths for ease of future editing. The client received assets that were immediately deployment-ready for websites, pitch decks, merchandise, and large-format printing — eliminating the bottleneck that raster files had previously created across their brand touchpoints.
Helion360 works with startups and established brands alike to ensure their visual assets are technically sound and strategically consistent — if your logos need a similar rebuild, the team is ready to help.
