The Challenge
The client came to us with an existing logo that had been built or exported in a raster-friendly format — functional for limited applications, but wholly unsuitable for the demands of a growing brand operating across digital and print channels. As their design capabilities expanded, they needed the logo available in professional vector formats — specifically EPS, AI, and SVG — so it could scale to any size without quality loss. The complexity lay not just in the conversion itself, but in cleaning up the original artwork: resolving rough edges, aligning anchor points, and ensuring the final files would behave predictably across Adobe Illustrator, web environments, and third-party design tools. A careless conversion would simply recreate the existing problems in a different file format, which was not an acceptable outcome.
Our Approach
Helion360 began by auditing the source file to understand what had been built, where the geometry was inconsistent, and what level of redrawing versus cleanup would be required. Rather than running an automated trace and calling it done, the team manually rebuilt the logo paths in Adobe Illustrator to ensure every curve, corner, and stroke was intentional and clean. Each vector element was structured with proper grouping and layer naming so the files would be immediately usable by any designer picking them up in the future. The artwork was then exported across all three requested formats — EPS for print and production environments, AI as the editable master file, and SVG for web and digital use — with each file tested for rendering accuracy before delivery.
The Outcome
The client received three production-ready vector files: a clean AI master, a universally compatible EPS, and an optimized SVG. Each format was verified to render correctly at both small UI scales and large-format print dimensions, confirming that the scalability requirement had been fully met. The cleaned vector artwork eliminated the rough-edge issues present in the original file, giving the brand a sharper, more professional foundation to build on. The structured file naming and layer organization meant the client's internal design team could integrate the assets into their workflow without any additional reformatting or rework.
Helion360 treats logo vectorization not as a mechanical export task but as a precision craft — one where the quality of the underlying vector illustrations determines how confidently a brand can show up across every touchpoint.
