Building a brand identity from the ground up is rarely straightforward. The client needed more than a static logo — they required a complete visual identity system that could hold its own across digital platforms, video content, and motion-heavy environments. The core challenge was creating something distinctive enough to stand apart in a crowded market while remaining flexible enough to animate fluidly and scale across every touchpoint. A brand ident in motion carries different demands than a print logo: it must communicate character, timing, and personality in just a few seconds, which means every design decision — from letterform to color to transition — has to serve a dual purpose. Translating a brand concept into a living, moving identity required both strategic thinking and precise craft execution.
Our Approach
Helion360 began by establishing the visual identity system before any animation work commenced. The team developed the core logomark and wordmark through an iterative design process, exploring typographic direction, symbol concepts, and color systems that aligned with the client's positioning. Once the static identity was locked, the focus shifted to the motion layer — developing a brand ident that animated the logo with intentional timing, easing curves, and sound-design-ready pacing. The motion graphics were built to serve as a versatile asset, usable as an intro/outro sequence for video content, a loading animation for digital products, and a looping social media asset. Each animation state was exported in multiple formats to ensure compatibility across broadcast, web, and social platforms.
The Outcome
The final deliverables included a fully resolved logo system with primary, secondary, and reversed variants, motion graphics in multiple duration cuts, and a set of usage guidelines ensuring the animated identity could be applied consistently by the client's internal team going forward. The motion ident brought the brand to life with a polished, broadcast-quality feel — giving the client a visual anchor they could deploy immediately across video, presentations, and digital channels. What had previously been a fragmented visual presence became a coherent, professional brand system with motion at its core.
