The Challenge
A founder launching a new venture came to us with an ambitious and technically layered brief: design a modern, eye-catching logo that would double as an animated cipher — one that felt rooted in cryptography while also serving as a sharp, versatile brand asset. The challenge was not simply aesthetic. The final deliverable needed to function at 300 DPI across multiple print formats without any loss of fidelity, while simultaneously working as a fluid, engaging animation. Bridging the world of high-resolution print production with motion design — while embedding genuine cryptographic visual language — required both creative depth and technical precision.
Our Approach
Helion360 began by studying the conceptual space where cryptography meets visual identity: cipher wheels, shifting character grids, encoded symbols, and the layered geometry that defines encryption aesthetics. From these references, the team developed a core logomark that worked as a standalone static identity — bold, modern, and instantly legible — while also being architecturally designed to animate. The cipher animation was built as a sequence in which elements of the logo appear to encode and decode, cycling through symbolic motion that reinforced the brand's cryptographic personality. Every vector element was constructed at full resolution from the outset, ensuring that scaling to 300 DPI for print introduced no artifacts, softness, or compensation. Colour palettes, spacing, and motion timing were all tested across both digital display and physical print mockups to guarantee consistency across mediums.
The Outcome
The project delivered a complete brand motion asset: a fully animated cipher logo sequence and a static print-ready logomark exported at 300 DPI, ready for use across packaging, merchandise, marketing collateral, and digital platforms. The animated version captures the cryptographic concept in motion — functioning as both a brand identifier and a visual storytelling device — while the static version holds its own as a clean, professional mark in any print context. The client received a brand asset that felt genuinely distinctive, technically robust, and built to scale with the venture as it grows.
