Caption styling was developed to complement the documentary aesthetic — clean, legible, and timed precisely to speech patterns rather than dropped in as an afterthought. For the b-roll layer, the team curated and sequenced footage that visually reinforced the themes of resilience, community, and economic pressure without feeling stock-heavy or generic.
