The Challenge
A fast-growing brand had just completed a full logo redesign and needed to bring that identity to life through motion — quickly, and across every major platform. The challenge was not simply animating a logo; it was building a cohesive motion system that could flex across wildly different format requirements, from a looping social media sting to a broadcast-quality intro, all while staying true to the brand's visual language. The client was operating under a tight timeline, had a clear sense of urgency tied to an upcoming brand rollout, and needed a partner who could translate a static design into a fluid, polished animation without requiring multiple rounds of fundamental revision.
Our Approach
Helion360 approached this as a motion branding project rather than a one-off animation task. The work began with a detailed review of the existing logo files and brand guidelines to fully understand the geometry, color relationships, and personality of the mark before a single keyframe was set. From there, the team developed a concept for how the logo would reveal itself — sequencing the animation to feel intentional and brand-consistent rather than generic. The primary animation was built in After Effects, with timing curves and easing carefully tuned to give the motion weight and character. Once the master animation was approved, it was adapted into a full suite of format-specific exports: a square version for social feeds, a horizontal cut for website headers, a dark-background variant for use on video content, and a transparent-background version for broadcast and presentation use. Each output was reviewed for consistency so that no matter where the logo appeared, the motion felt unmistakably the same.
The Outcome
The project delivered a complete logo animation system — including a master After Effects project file and five platform-ready export formats — within the client's required turnaround window. The brand now has a motion identity that works seamlessly across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube intros, website headers, and internal presentations without any additional post-production work. The animation has become a cornerstone of the brand's launch assets, ensuring a consistent and professional visual impression from day one of the rollout.
