The Challenge
An indie video game developer came to us at an early but critical stage of their project: the game was taking shape, but their visual identity was nowhere near ready. They needed two distinct deliverables — a set of promotional graphics that would capture the futuristic, immersive tone of the game, and a clean, memorable company logo that would anchor their brand across digital channels. The complexity lay in balancing creative ambition with practical constraints. Promotional game graphics need to evoke atmosphere, genre, and excitement simultaneously, while a company logo must be versatile enough to work across thumbnails, splash screens, social media profiles, and press kits. Our Approach
Helion360 began by conducting a focused creative brief session to extract the studio's vision — the game's genre, aesthetic references, target audience, and the emotional tone they wanted players to feel at first glance. From there, the team developed a futuristic visual direction rooted in dark, high-contrast environments, bold typography treatments, and sci-fi inspired color palettes. Promotional graphics were crafted in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, designed to function as standalone assets while remaining visually consistent across the full set. For the logo, the team explored multiple concept directions before refining the chosen mark into a clean, scalable symbol that communicated both the studio's identity and the spirit of their game world. Every design decision — from typeface selection to color grading — was made with long-term brand usability in mind.
The Outcome
The studio received a complete set of polished promotional game graphics alongside a finalized company logo delivered in all standard formats, including vector source files for scalability across print and digital use. The visual assets established a consistent aesthetic foundation the studio could carry into their full launch campaign, press materials, and social media presence. The logo in particular gave the team a professional identity to represent them at industry events and in publisher conversations — a meaningful credibility boost for an early-stage studio entering a competitive market.
