A software company needed a short-form explainer video — approximately 90 seconds — to communicate how their product works, but with a visual standard that matched the polish of global consumer tech brands. The reference point was clear: think Apple or Samsung launching a product. The challenge was not simply producing an animated video; it was translating a complex software interface into a visually compelling narrative that would hold attention in a boardroom setting, without access to a fully finished product to film or photograph. All artwork had to be designed from scratch, working from a high-level functional overview of the software, and every frame needed to feel considered, premium, and purposeful.
Our Approach
Helion360 began by mapping the product's core user flow into a visual narrative structure — identifying the three or four pivotal moments in the software experience that would resonate most with a corporate audience in under 90 seconds. From there, the team developed custom UI illustration and interface mockups that captured the software's functionality without relying on live screen recordings, giving the piece a refined, cinematic quality rather than a standard product demo feel. Motion design was handled with precision: smooth transitions, depth through layering, and carefully timed reveals kept the pacing tight and the storytelling clear. Typography, color hierarchy, and motion language were all aligned to the premium aesthetic the client had in mind — clean, confident, and brand-forward.
