The Challenge
A fast-growing direct-to-consumer e-commerce startup needed to launch multiple new product lines on their Shopify store — and they needed everything to feel cohesive, polished, and production-ready from day one. The challenge was not simply creating attractive graphics; it was ensuring that every visual asset, from product surface graphics to custom hang tags and labels, met print-on-demand technical specifications while remaining tightly aligned to a developing brand identity. The client was working against a production deadline, which meant there was no room for iterative design exploration without a clear system in place. Bridging the gap between brand aesthetics and print-house requirements is a discipline of its own, and doing it across multiple product categories simultaneously made the scope particularly demanding.
Our Approach
Helion360 began by auditing the brand's existing visual identity to establish a consistent design language that could translate cleanly across different product formats and print substrates. Rather than designing products in isolation, the team developed a unified graphic framework — consistent typography, color palettes with CMYK-accurate values, and pattern systems — that could be adapted efficiently across each product category without sacrificing distinctiveness.
Each product graphic was built at the required print resolution, with bleed areas, safe zones, and file specifications matched to the client's chosen print-on-demand supplier. Custom labels and hang tags were designed as standalone brand touchpoints, carrying the same visual DNA as the products themselves. Storefront visuals were produced as lifestyle-style mock-up compositions to support the Shopify product listings, giving the launch a retail-quality presentation without requiring a physical photoshoot.
Timeline discipline was built into the workflow from the outset. Design batches were staged by product category and delivered in sequence to keep the client's production schedule on track, with clear file-naming conventions and organized handoff packages that required no additional preparation before upload or print submission.
The Outcome
The client received a complete suite of production-ready graphic assets covering multiple product categories, including high-resolution print files, custom label and tag designs, and Shopify-optimized storefront visuals — all delivered within the production deadline. Every asset was formatted to print-on-demand supplier specifications, eliminating the back-and-forth that typically delays new product launches. The brand launched its new lines with a consistent, professional visual presence that reflected the quality of its products and positioned the storefront competitively within its market segment.
Helion360 continues to support growing e-commerce brands that need design work to be both visually compelling and operationally ready — because a great product line deserves assets that perform as well as they look.
