A growing San Francisco-based online retailer came to the table with an ambitious goal: transform a flat, static web presence into a fully dynamic Shopify-powered storefront that could compete in an increasingly crowded global e-commerce market. Our Approach
Helion360 approached this as a unified brand and commerce build rather than three separate workstreams. On the development side, the team restructured the Shopify theme from the ground up, replacing static HTML layouts with a modular, conversion-optimized store architecture that offered a seamless shopping experience across desktop and mobile. Custom sections were designed to highlight product storytelling and reduce friction at every stage of the purchase journey.
On the design front, the team developed a cohesive visual language — covering logo refinement, product imagery direction, banner graphics, and promotional assets — all built to be consistent across the storefront and outbound marketing channels. Adobe Creative Suite was used throughout to ensure production-quality output at every touchpoint.
For the UGC layer, the team developed a content framework that guided how customer reviews, testimonials, and behind-the-scenes content would be collected, formatted, and integrated into the store experience. Rather than treating UGC as an afterthought, it was architected as a core part of the brand's digital identity — surfaced prominently on product pages and collection pages to build trust and drive conversions.
