The Challenge
The client had an established brand logo they were proud of — clean, modern, and digitally effective. The problem was that it had never been purpose-built for print. As they moved into producing business cards, promotional materials, and physical branded assets, they needed a second version of the logo that would hold up under printing conditions: sharp at any size, legible in both full color and black and white, and delivered in formats that a print vendor could actually use. The challenge was not simply recreating the logo — it was refining and adapting it with enough care to preserve the original brand character while solving real-world production constraints.
Our Approach
Helion360 began by auditing the existing logo against common print failure points — ink bleed, contrast loss on dark substrates, and legibility at small sizes such as those found on standard business cards. The team identified areas where fine details and color gradients would not survive the transition to physical media without adjustment. From there, a print-optimized variant was developed that retained the original logo's proportions, typeface, and visual language while introducing subtle changes to weight, contrast, and color values to ensure consistency across CMYK and grayscale outputs. The final deliverable package included fully scalable vector files in both AI and EPS formats alongside high-resolution PNG and PDF exports, giving the client a production-ready asset set for any vendor or format requirement.
The Outcome
The client received a complete second logo variant engineered for physical production use. The updated design maintained the clean and modern aesthetic of the original while performing reliably in full color, single color, and black and white applications. With vector source files and high-resolution exports in hand, the client could move directly into print production without any additional design intermediary. Business cards, promotional merchandise, and branded collateral were all covered by a single, well-structured asset package.
Helion360 regularly works with brands navigating the gap between digital-first identity and physical production requirements — if your logo needs to cross that bridge, the team can help.
